PetSafe Outdoor Bark Control helps you Bring peace and quiet to your backyard. Cleverly disguised as a birdhouse, the unit can be placed anywhere in your yard or hung from a tree. Whenever your dog (or your neighbor’s dog) barks, he will hear a safe but ultrasonic sound that’s inaudible to humans. As soon as he stops barking, the ultrasonic sound stops.
The unit can only detect your dog’s bark when he is in front of it, so picking the best placement for your unit is key. This weatherproof unit covers a 1/4-acre area, but if you need more coverage, simply place additional units for your entire backyard area. The battery-operated device uses 1 9-volt battery and lasts up to 2 months depending on how often your dog barks. With a little time and patience, your dog will learn not to bark in the backyard so you can enjoy the outdoors together, peacefully.
