Description

Perhaps the most handiest accessory to add to your crate is the removable caster wheel kit.

Each kit includes the caster plates, mounting hardware and casters. The casters are 3" red polyurethane tires, which are molded onto a hard rubber hub. Each tire swivels and locks which comes in handy when on an incline and your hands are full. Double action braking stops wheel and swivel with one easy movement of the engagement lever. Roller bearings keeps the crate moving smoothly.

The heavy duty construction of the corner bracket acts to protect your crate from damage as it makes it way through airports, show rings and rough handling baggage handlers.

Fits all Zinger crates.

We designed these casters so the wheels easily remove when needed (without tools) and the crate and attached brackets sits flat on the floor.

CASTER WHEEL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Please note that it is recommended that before installing your caster wheel brackets, that the whole crate be fully assembled.  Each Caster Wheel Setup should include 4 x Brackets (plus hardware), 4 x Swivel Caster Wheels.  It’s recommended to flip the crate upside down.

  1. On each corner of bottom Panel A, use the bracket as a guide to mark the places to drill.
  2. Drill the holes with a quarter inch drill bit, then ream the holes out.
  3. Using hardware provided install each bracket and fasten.
  4. With all 4 brackets installed the caster wheels can now clip on and off by sliding sideways into each bracket.

Casters

The casters are great, glad I got them. However, after spending $150 for the casters kit and being shorted two nuts to finish installing them was pretty frustrating. Customer Service quickly remedied the situation, and had two nuts sent, but that was an additional 2 weeks waiting for the parts to arrive. Very annoying. Plus they literally sent two nuts .. not even an extra or two, just in case.
